This piece explores the tension between authority and choice—the moment when a simple “yes” can carry far more meaning than the word itself. I wanted the figure to appear strong rather than passive: someone who understands exactly what she is saying and owns the decision behind it. The combination of rough acrylic and intimate pencil marks mirrors that contrast between power and vulnerability.
